Discussion Boards

  • What is the Discussion Board and how do I Use it?
    • There are two types of Discussion Boards: General and Facilitator
    • The Facilitator Discussion Board is a private forum for trained Facilitators to hold discussions with each other about aspects of the training or specific Modules. Each training module has a separate board. It requires a person to Login and create a user account.
      • To gain access trained Facilitators need to contact the coordinator to obtain a Facilitator password to create a user account for the Discussion Board
      • Once the facilitator creates a personal user account, the facilitator must notify the Coordinator to enable access to the boards. The Discussions can be accessed any time with the personal user account.
      • Once enabled and you have logged into Discussions, you will see Facilitator Discussion listed at the top of the Discussion Board page. Click on this link to enter the board.
    • The General Discussion Board is a private forum for both Participants and Facilitators of community training sessions. It requires a person to Login and create a user account.
    • To Login:
      • Facilitators access the discussion board with their personal user account information.
      • If the facilitator wants to open a discussion board for participants of a specific training session as follow up to training, a time-limited password must be obtained from the Coordinator for each community session.
      • Participants can only access the board for that training session using the time- limited password provided by the Facilitator for that session.
      • The Discussions can be accessed any time with the personal user account.
You must log in with your username to use the Discussion Boards.
